About Me

I am Martie. The owner of Martie Nel Photography

My love for photography started about 20 years ago when I worked in the photographic printing industry. I was Production Manager for a few years when I started taking photos with my sister and later on with my husband.

We relocated to The Western Cape in 2022 for my husband's work

I changed to doing only newborns for a while. But recently started doing wedding photography again which was my first passion.

Newborns is so amazing to photograph. To capture these tiny miracles is such an honor.

Every milestone that I create with all the families makes my heart full.

Spending time with my own 2 boys and family is a blessing and a honor.

Capturing every moment in life should be documented and saved.

Photos are the only memory left after a life is lived.
